Chapter 7 Risk
Alejandra’s Point of View
We were going to go back to the dormitory to check on Hailey’s condition, but we hadn’t arrived yet. There were students running away.
“Why are they running?” Nadia asked.
“There’s only one way for us to know.” They nodded because they already knew what I meant.
We followed the students. We looked at where they were looking.
We were all surprised to see Hailey at the top of the clinic while Raine held her arm.
“Bitch, let go of Hailey!” I shout.
She grinned as if she had no intention of releasing Hailey.
“Do you think I’ll listen to a lowly student like you?” She asked contemptuously.
“It’s better to be a lowly student than to be flirtatious like you with no choice!”
Hailey is defending me.
She even raised her voice so that everyone could hear. There was anger in Raine’s eyes.
“Shut up!” Raine shouted angrily.
“Why did what I said hit you?” Hailey asked.
“Make fun of everyone, don’t just make fun of my friend.” She added.
The students shouted because the atmosphere around them was getting heavier.
Raine pointed the knife at Hailey.
“You’ll lose that courage when you’re dead.” Raine said.
“When will your arrogance disappear?” Hailey asked angrily.
“You’re going to die.” Raine said with a wide smile.
“Are you threatening me?” Hailey asked.
Raine didn’t hesitate to push Hailey. My tears started to flow.
I can’t bear to see my friend die.
“Demon!” All the students shouted.
Looking up, I saw that Demon was already holding onto Hailey’s waist.
They went back to the top of the clinic. A demon suddenly strangled Raine. He lifted Raine and mercilessly threw her.
I couldn’t believe it because, from the top of the clinic, Demon and Hailey were in front of us.
Raine, on the other hand, stumbled over to us.
“You’re lucky now, but next time you will definitely die.” Raine threatens Hailey.
As Raine walked away from us, Demon threw the knife at her.
“Nice throw. ” Raze said.
We watched Raine fall.
A demon hit her with a knife. Our attention went to Hailey, who was now pale and unconscious.
“Lift her up!” Ethan shouted at them.
She was carried to the clinic by the Demon. I also noticed that Hailey was getting more and more pale and her lips were dry.
“The real battle is about to begin.” Headmaster Dracilus said.
“Poison to poison.” He added.
There was not even a trace of concern on his face. He was still happy with what was happening.
Was it Raine who planned badly for Hailey?
“I’m sure Raine did it.” Nadia said.
Agatha, on the other hand, continued to cry because she was too worried about Hailey.
“It could also be someone else’s fault.” They all looked at me.
“Only Raine is angry and wants to kill Hailey.” Ethan said.
“Did you forget what happened at the party? Hailey humiliated Headmaster Dracilus. So it’s also possible that he was the one who did it. ” I said, so they thought too.
The door opened. Nurse Ally greeted us, unable to paint the face.
We entered the clinic room where Demon took her.
“You can now enter.” Nurse Ally said.
As we entered, we caught up with Hailey, who was sweating profusely. Her condition is getting worse now.
“Why is she acting like this?” I asked seriously.
“There is a high-grade poison mixed with what she eats. If the cure is not given, she could die. ” She said, so I was even more nervous.
“Where is the cure? Why can’t you give it to her? ” Theo asked worriedly.
“The cure for the poison was impossible to obtain because the poison that entered her body had not yet been discovered by the drug.” She says.
Because of what she said, I leaned against the wall. Kent, in turn, sat in the chair next to Hailey.
Nurse Ally came out, but I noticed that she grinned horribly.
“We can’t just stand by while Hailey’s body is getting weaker!” I shout.
We covered our noses because the whole room was suddenly filled with smoke.
I can’t see what’s going on, but I’m sure someone got into it.
The atmosphere suddenly heated up, and I could no longer afford not to breathe.
I could have inhaled the smoke, but someone opened the window and the door. So, slowly exhale the smoke.
“Shit! Who’s that? ” I asked as I caught my breath.
We all looked at Hailey. She had a cut on her right arm, so we approached her immediately.
“Hailey’s condition is improving.” Theo said.
He is right. Hailey’s lips were no longer dry and her skin was no longer pale.
I stroked Hailey’s hair.
“Who came in here and gave Hailey medicine?” Nadia asked, surprised.
“I don’t know. Do you know who it is? ” I asked Kent.
“I have no idea.” He answered immediately.
I jump for joy as Hailey gradually regains consciousness.
“I want water.” Hailey said hoarsely.
Agatha handed her water, and she was very thirsty.
“Hailey, we’re happy because you’re awake.” I said.
“Do you know who put poison in your food?” Theo asked.
“All I remember is that someone gave me food and said it was from Nadia.” She said softly.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
“I’m not sending you any food.” Nadia said.
“Maybe someone used your name to get Hailey to eat the food, but who?”
They just kept quiet because of my question.
Nurse Ally entered the room, looking surprised.
“How did you recover?” She asked incredulously.
“You don’t seem happy that I’m healed.” Hailey said.
“You still want me to never get better and just die, right?” Hailey added.
“I didn’t say anything like that.” Nurse Ally said emphatically.
“Even if you don’t say it, I can see it in your actions.”
Nurse Ally raised an eyebrow at what Hailey said.
She came out of the room, but before she closed the door, she looked at Hailey as her eyes glazed over.
“It doesn’t all end here. There are many more dangers to come. Hailey said.
“I want to get out of here.” Agatha said and hugged Hailey.
“We can’t leave, but we can do everything to survive.” Hailey said, smiling.
