After the Secret Wedding Rise of My Queen

Chapter 277

Chapter

277 Xander Grows Suspicious

Is that the truth?

Only Isabel knows the answer.

So, what they were discussing now were just their wild guesses.

Yvette hurried over to Isabel.

"Isa! You're amazing! I've always treated you like a sister! How could you hide something like shooting from me? I thought we were best friends!" Isabel nervously scratched her neck. "It's not a big deal. I just go to the shooting range when I have some free time to blow off some steam." Blow off steam?

What kind of stress could she possibly be dealing with?

Could it be because of Kaleb?

Yvette's mind began to wander, wondering if Isabel had been feeling repressed during her time with the Johnsons. She was so gentle and maybe she didn't know how to express herself. Even though Kaleb and Eva might have mistreated her, Isabel likely kept it all bottled up.

After keeping it inside for so long, maybe Isabel couldn't handle it anymore and secretly went to the shooting range to let loose.

"Hmmm," Yvette thought. Her guess wasn't entirely implausible.

Meanwhile, Xander was quietly observing Isabel.

He knew more about Isabel's shooting skills than Yvette did. According to Leo's investigation, Isabel had never been to a shooting range. There might have been a few missed investigations, but judging by how skilled Isabel was with a gun, she must have been there often. Xander narrowed his deep, enigmatic eyes, studying the girl in front of him. His brow furrowed slightly.

What's going on with her?

Is she Isabel?

If she isn't Isabel, then who is she?

"Xander, look! The sun is about to set. Sunsets in the countryside are the best," Isabel's voice suddenly broke through his thoughts.

Xander followed her gaze to the horizon. The sun was sinking, painting the sky in vibrant hues of red and purple. The land seemed to be covered in a veil of evening glow.

A few seconds later, Xander's gaze shifted back to Isabel.

She looked almost otherworldly, her

With a soft sigh, the weight in his heart seemed to lift.

The questions he had earlier no longer mattered.

No matter who Isabel was, she was real, standing right in front of him.

She was his wife.

The one he was meant to grow old with.

That was enough.

As night settled in, the countryside was quiet, far removed from the flashing lights and noise of the city.

By nine o'clock, everyone was getting ready for bed.

Rachel's tent was right next to Xander's.

She deliberately wore a pure white

"Xan, everyone's setting off fireworks. Aren't you coming?"noveldrama

Xander's cold, distant voice echoed from inside the tent.

"I'm not interested. You'll have fun."

Upon hearing this, a disappointed expression spread across Rachel's face.

Just then, voices came from inside Xander's tent.

"Fireworks? I like fireworks. I'm going." Isabel said.

Isabel! How shameless is she to sleep with Xand! Rachel gritted her teeth in anger.

Then, Xander's voice rang out again.

"I'll go with you."

"You don't have to," Isabel replied. "You said

fireworks. Stay here, I'll come back when I'm done."

"I'm not interested in fireworks, but I am interested in watching them with you."
