Chapter 1321

The hospital director rushed over when he heard loud yelling, worried that something serious had happened. He was stunned to see who was involved.

"Do you know who you're yelling at? How dare you yell at Mister Richard!" he exclaimed, his eyes widening in shock.

The director almost fainted. In Enswood, nobody would dare to be rude to Mister Richard, let alone yell at him, yet here he was being shouted at in his own hospital.

"Oh?" The doctor suddenly realized whom he had offended. That was why they both looked familiar...

Nervously, the doctor tried to smooth things over. "Um... Mister Richard, I didn't mean to attack you..."

But it was too late for explanations.

"It's fine, I understand," Richard replied, his face unreadable.

The doctor felt like his career was over, and his legs began to tremble. "Mister Richard, I—"

"Don't worry. I'm not going to punish you."

Relieved to see Richard wasn't actually angry, the doctor nodded. "But sir, I must say that I don't think Miss Pearl should be discharged yet. She's not well enough."

"She wants to go home," Richard stated simply.

The doctor's eyes widened in concern. "It's still not a good idea."

The director was about to lose his patience. "Miss Pearl knows more about medicine than you do! You don't need to give them advice."

The doctor respected Pearl greatly, knowing she had developed a cure for a serious illness, but he was worried. "But she's pregnant and might not be noticing everything. It's my duty to remind her."

Pearl was indeed pregnant, which could make her more tired and less alert, possibly

overlooking important health issues. Richard realized that and looked intently at the doctor, making him uncomfortable.

"Is something wrong, Mister Richard?"

"No, but I have a question," Richard replied.

"Go ahead."

"Where did you graduate from?"

The doctor proudly replied, "Ancard Medical University!" It was the top medical school in the country.

Richard seemed relieved and then asked another question. "What's your name?"

"Adrian Biles."

"Would you like to become our family doctor?"

Adrian was surprised. "What?"
