Primordial connection
The snow fell beautifully that day. The wolf howls could be heard in the snow when he appeared.
Jae Hyun had already heard about him. Kallias, the demigod who commanded one of Mother’s troops against the ancestral spirits who wished to take possession of the progenitor’s propia.
Those who wanted to go against the wolves and the new creation of the Goddess had fought briefly but never won. They had never defeated her son.
And those were the stories that Jae Hyun heard. That Kallias was powerful, invincible and ruthless when needed.
But he did not expect the demigod to appear before him that day.
Kallias was bleeding in the snow. His red blood stained all white. The battle against the ancient creatures had been fierce and even though he was immortal, he still tired and could be injured.
Jae Hyun felt his power, the energy of a demigod who could force anyone to kneel.
The omega was hypnotized by long blonde hair and heterochromatic eyes.
Kallias looked at Jae Hyun with his lips and wounds around his body, bleeding. He looked tired and about to fall.
And that’s what happened. The man fell and Jae Hyun ran to him, taking him inside and hearing only a whisper: my omega.
The snow was still falling outside, but it was much warmer inside. Jae Hyun had taken care of his injuries and let him rest.
The general was in his house and had called him “my omega.”
Jae Hyun was thoughtful about it until she noticed that Kallias had woken up.
The man moved and produced a sound of pain.
He opened the eyes of different colors that seemed to penetrate the soul of Jae Hyun and unravel any secret.
The omega smiled:
“Do you feel better?”
The alpha smiled, Jae Hyun missed those smiles today.
“Yes, thanks to you. Thanks for saving me.”
Jae Hyun just waved and smiled.
“Anyone would do the same.”
“Not just any one.”
Kallias stood up and approached him. Jae Hyun tried to walk away, but could not. His inner wolf desired him and felt that he was his true alpha.
“You feel it too.” Kallias whispered.
“Yes.” Jae Hyun responded, allowing him to finally get close.
Their faces approached, their lips were almost together and soon both kissed.
It was not an intense kiss as if they knew each other for a long time, it was a pure and chaste kiss. Typical of a first time.
Kallkas smiled at his blushing face and said:
“I think I can be a nuisance at the moment. Thanks again for helping me, Jae Hyun. I’d ask you for your hand and your marriage, but it’s not the time.”
——
Two years passed, the battle continued for so long and Jae Hyun saw Kallias only for some time. Sometimes well, sometimes wounded.
Jae Hyun knew how to fight. Everyone in the Pearl Forest knew that. But Mother didn’t force anyone to fight for her.
Even so, Jae Hyun knew that the time had come for him to enter the battlefield.
It was ending, but there was still something to fight. Jae Hyun approached the fight and saw the blonde hair in the crowd.Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
Kallias was skilled, both with the sword and as a wolf. Jae Hyun could feel the energy of his wolf alpha. Whether he was okay or not.
The omega drew the sword and was help him. The creatures were huge, the worst of them were the ancestral wolves of the shadows. Which Kallias would make a contract for in the future.
But at that time. They were the enemies. Not that they weren’t now.
Jae Hyun hit some of them with the sword and others with his lupine form. A light came around him and frightened them.
Kallias’ wolf approached him and caressed him. At that moment, their hearts will unite. And the Goddess knew that it was the union of alphas and omegas that would bring the world into balance again. Even for wolves.
The day after the war, Kallias and Jae Hyun married. It was a happy day, where everyone celebrated and were happy for the couple.
They will unite as one and from that moment on, one could not kill the other. Or be killed.
Years passed and Jae Hyun thought she would never be happier. Kallias was a good husband, kind and caring. However, he might notice something bothering his alpha.
“What is it? Talk to me.” Kallias said, holding his hand.
“Do you think that ancestral beings love Mother more than wolves?”
Jae Hyun even walked away from his husband. Surprised by the question.
“How? It’s not possible, Kallias. We fight these beings. They couldn’t love Mother more than wolves.”
Still, Kallias seemed angry.
“But the wolves are forgetting them, leaving her aside, Jae. They don’t hear them anymore.” He said angrily.
Jae Hyun looked at him, sadly.
“I know, dear, it breaks my heart. But I don’t think your thinking is right. Neither one nor the other. Just a few. Some still love and hear it. Whoever does not will be penalized by fate itself.”
And as Jae Hyun had said, it happened. The wolves were punished, losing part of their powers and gradually forgetting Mother.
But it was not a good thing for the couple. Mother tried to reach her children, unsuccessfully. And it corroded Jae Hyun and Kallias from within.
They tried to get to the wolves, but without result. Their pride, and thirst for power, made them forget who had given them such skills and life.
It infuriated Kallias and Jae Hyun had no way to stop him from feeling that way.
A century passed and the wolves were but a shadow of what they had been. Weak, proud, and innocent, unaware of the true power they might actually have.
It was also at this time that he and Kallias made the contract with the ancestral beings.
Jae Hyun always liked the Crows and had an affection for these creatures.
Kallias chose the ancestral wolves of the shadows, which worried his omega. However, the alpha reassured him at the time, saying that there was no stronger than him.
Jae Hyun just smiled, but, he should have listened to his instincts.
Two years later, when Jae Hyun became pregnant with her baby. Kallias was different. The creatures had already managed to dominate his mind, using his anger and negative feelings.
Jae Hyun fled, afraid of how her son might be involved in this.
Kallias didn’t look for him, or he didn’t just find him.
300 years have passed and Jae Hyun has always told his father’s good things to his son. However, he knew that Kallias was planning something big. It would take years, but it would have an impact.
Jae Hyun managed to hide Kian. And make him sleep for a purpose only Mother knew.
Now there was no waking up him. Only a person guided by fate could do that at the time. And it was none of his parents.
Even so, he thought Kallias would ask about his son before making Jae Hyun fall asleep that day. He did not.
Jae Hyun wondered if his husband would do it today.
It snowed, like the first day they met. Kallias welcomed him to the same place they lived in the past.
An old house in a forest full of cherry trees.
“I have come as promised.”
“And I’m here, as promised.” Kallias replied.
Jae Hyun sighed and approached, caressing his face.
“I want to enter the petal of the flower. Do you remember how?”
Kallias looked at him surprised. The ancestral wolves around him began to growl around him, disapproving of Jae Hyun’s idea.
“Shut up.” Kallias growled, his eyes turned yellow. ” Don’t act like that with my omega, you mutts. Have you forgotten who’s in charge here?”
The wolves cried and retreated as they felt his power.
“You’re doing this to protect those kids. It’s no use, Jae.”
Jae Hyun smiled at me.
“If you won’t. Why not test it? You’re afraid to change your mind, dear? To give up what you want?” A comment wishing to annoy you has been made.
Kallias laughed. A light laugh, of whom he feared nothing.
“You know me, my love. I’m not afraid of anything. And I never regret it.”
“Your evil is your arrogance.” The omega smiled.
“And yours is to think you can heal everyone.” he said kissing his omega’s hand.
“Then there is nothing to fear.”
“I won’t go soft on those brats.” Kallias promised.
“I know, honey, I’m not expecting that. I came here to try a deal. Do you take it?”
Jae Hyun smiled, confident.
Kallias gave the mischievous smile he loved.
“I accept.”
They kissed, sealing the deal and Jae Hyun only hoped he had bought enough time.
