The Billionaire’s Lust Love

Chapter 32

All the people with well-known names in the business industry showed up at the venue one by one. Suits, gowns, heels and shoes, watches, and some of the accessories speaks wealth. Even the bags and cars, are all expensive.

Everyone is excited. Everyone is boasting. Some prominent people are sitting with a glass of wine and socializing to others, while the others are talking boasting their wealth. Even the food in the venue is world class, the waitresses and waiters are well trained and the chefs are famous all over the world.

There’s a lot of press and media inside the venue.

If other’s busy minding their own business, Steven is different cause his eyes settled only on the stage. He didn’t know why. He just got nervous all of a sudden. He knew Viosdado was one of the VIPs who would be introduced later on stage.

Because even though his company is successful, RLC is on another level. It’s like a Supreme king in a palace while they are just princes.

Everyone’s whispers were heard. Who is RLC? Everyone is excited.

VIPs were introduced one by one as the program began. What gave everyone the most thrill was the revelation of the identity of the new owner of RLC.

Viosdado was introduced first.

Vios waved at the people inside the venue then the emcee continued speaking.

“So today, for the first time, the person behind the success of RLC is here with us,” the venue was filled with applause because they were all excited to meet the heiress of RLC.

“The famous owner of RLC has decided to reveal herself after 3 years of overtaking the company.” Kael

“So basically, she is the boss of your friend, Vios?” Agatha

“Yes,”

“Let’s all welcome. Rialyn Loverio,”

When the emcee announced Ria’s full name, everyone stood up in shock, including her friends. They didn’t expect that the new owner of the RLC is their friend whom they think died 3 years ago.

Steven couldn’t believe that the new CEO of RLC was the woman he had been looking for so long.

RIALYN

“Smile wife. You look like stupid,” I didn’t listen to Vios and just looked at the people with the face I had prepared for this day.

The emcee was saying something but my attention focused only to the crowd. My friends were here. As much as possible, I want to keep my relationship with them hidden. This is for their own safety.

“Your friends are here madame. And they all look shocked,” Vios whispered.

When I looked around, I saw Steven. He looked surprised and unable to believe that I was here in front of him. The reaction on his face is what I want to see. But when I looked into his eyes, I immediately averted my eyes from him. I don’t know why I see the longing and pain there. And I don’t like that.

“Come here,” Vios put his hand on my small waist. I couldn’t help but look at Steven especially when his eyes fell on Viosdado’s hand that was on my waist. I don’t know what’s going through his mind and I don’t care to know what it is.

“Stop looking at him Ria. You look like a fool,” Vios whispered in my ear.

“I’m not looking at him,” I denied.

“Yes. You are staring at him,” he took some strands of my hair from my face and put them behind my ears.

“There. Beautiful,” he said and led me to sit in our assigned seat.

In the middle of the event, there were people who tried to talk to me, but because of my tight security, they couldn’t just approach me. Vios make sure that no one can get close to me except him.

He handled everything. I trust him with this. I went to the restroom to pee and my secretary came with me.All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

“Ma’am Ria, I’ll just wait for you outside,” I nodded. When I looked at myself in the mirror I let out a deep breath.

I never thought I would see them all at an event like this.

I never thought I would see my friends here. Earlier, I could see the pain on their faces. They were shocked and couldn’t believe I am alive. I also saw how Divine and Agatha cried. And also, I saw the anger of Lia’s face when she saw me.

Why?

Why her?

“Why did she do all that to me?”

For 3 years of investigating, I found out the person behind the accident.

We’ve been friends since college. We’ve been friends before I met Steven.

I still remember what Felix said to me a year ago.

“Amanda has no connection with your foster mother, hija,”

“Really? But she said that mom was her biological mother the last time we met,” I said.

“No, she’s not but it’s true that she has a child other than Sydney. Her daughter from her first husband,”

“Who is her daughter then?”

“Lashnia Guirro,”

My eyes widened when I heard my friend’s name.

“Pardon?”

“Lashnia Guirro. She’s your friend right?”

“Yes,”

“Well… it looks like you made the wrong decision to befriended her. Lashnia Guirro took over from her father’s business. All are illegal. She’s the first daughter of your foster mother from her first husband.”

What the!! Lia knows everything about me. She knows mom. She knows what I went through because she is my friend. But why didn’t she mention to me about her biological mother?

“Aside from that, Amanda’s father owes a lot to Christopher. Don’t you wonder, Ria, why Amanda came suddenly at the same year you found Steven?”

Suddenly everything came back to my memory. Amanda and I met for the first time in Tagaytay.

The exact address that only I, and my friends know.

(End of flashbacks)

“Ria,”

“Lashnia,” I was surprised but I tried not to stay calm.

“Oh My God! I miss you,” she said and hugged me. I didn’t expect her to hug me.

She cried while hugging me.

“I thought you were dead,” she said.

She looked at me from head to toe.

“You look different,” she said. I just stared at her. We almost died because of her.

We still lack evidence. We cannot yet prove that she was involved in the crime. But I am certain she’s the mastermind of everything.

“Thank you Lia,” I said.

“Why didn’t you come home? How’s Hivo? Is he dead?” why did it sound to me like she was making sure that my son is dead?

“I’m sorry Lia. A lot happened. I need to move on.” I answered. Not saying that Hivo is dead. Not confirming that he is alive. It’s up to her how she comprehend it.

“I understand. I know it’s hard to lose a child,” she said.

Really? She knew? Why? Did she get pregnant then? Or experienced having a child? What is she talking about?
