Serenity and Zachary York

Chapter 3201

Chapter 3201

Dylan did not run. It was too late anyway.

He had no choice but to sit and stay calm. He turned to look at Imogen with an intense gaze. She could not guess what he was thinking through his eyes.

Imogen leaned toward Dylan. They were so close that he could smell her faint fragrance.

He wondered what perfume she used. It was not overpowering and had a light and pleasant smell.

"Dylan," Imogen uttered softly.

"I'm listening," he replied.

"I have one question. What do you feel for me now? Are you pursuing me? If you are, why are you ignoring me?"

After pressing his lips, Dylan answered, "That was more than one question."

He paused before adding, "Will you scold me if I tell you I don't know? Will you think I'm a jerk?"

Dylan did want to pursue Imogen.

He thought she was great and Grandma May's choice was never wrong.

If it had not been for that girl, he could have accepted spending the rest of his life with Imogen, even if he did not love her.

However, that girl was bold and mischievous, elegant yet outgoing. He adored those sides of her. He felt the person he truly loved was that girl.

She was like an unpredictable fox, unlike Imogen, an elite daughter.

Imogen knew Dylan was not able to give her a definite answer.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

She stood straight and put her hands into her pockets while staring at him.

Dylan was stunned. Imogen's actions and expression looked like Chameleon Fox's.

However, the little difference was Chameleon Fox gave off a badass vibe whereas Imogen exuded arrogance.

"Why did you approach and treat me well if you didn't like me? With your excellence, you should know that no woman can resist your charms once you start flirting with her. "Don't tell me you were simply treating me as a friend. I don't believe a man and woman can purely be friends."

After pausing, she continued, "That might happen sometimes, but it's still rare.

"If you can give me a satisfactory answer, we can move on with our lives and never cross paths again."

Imogen did not want to be affected by Dylan anymore. She wanted to get to the bottom of it and make a choice.

Although Dylan was outstanding and attractive, he had no feelings for her. No matter how attracted she was to him, she would not force him.

Nothing good would come out of a forced relationship, and that she knew well enough.

After a moment of silence, Dylan

took his glass and finished his alcohol before filling it up again. He said, "Nana always presents wife candidates whenever one of us gets old enough to marry.

"She'll give us one year to pursue our wives-to-be. Aside from Zachary, both Callum and Kevin had gone through the same thing. They're now happy with their partners. Going by age, I'm the fourth among all her grandsons, and I'm about to turn twenty-nine. It's about time I got

married.

"I never had to worry about marriage previously because I had three of them before me. Now that they've found the women they love, it's finally my turn.

"Nana had a lady chosen for me too.

To be honest, I don't know when she decided on a candidate. I simply received a picture and basic information about that girl, such as her name and family background.

"And nothing else. Nana said women are like books, something new to discover with every page we flip."

Imogen asked, "Am I the candidate your nana picked for you?"

Dylan nodded.

"Yes."
