Chapter 113
Nesta’s POV
Knowing Leon wouldn’t just let me go so easily, I ran and ran, my heart pounding in my chest with each desperate step.
The dense forest seemed to close in around me, but I pushed through, determined to put as much distance between myself and that vile man as possible.
Leon had plans, and I couldn’t risk falling back into his clutches. Maybe Peter was lurking somewhere, waiting to drag me back. I had to keep moving.
Leon was vile, and I knew the lengths he would go to. As I ran, I felt a surge of gratitude for Nolan. He had imprisoned Leon’s father and locked down the pack.
But why hadn’t he told me? Tears gathered in my eyes, stinging as they blurred my vision. I loved Nolan so much. He had done so much for me, even without my knowing.
He knew how that pack had wrecked my life, and he had taken steps to shut it down. He protected me in ways I hadn’t even realized.
As I ran, my mind raced with thoughts of Nolan, Rowan, and our unborn child. I had to get back to them.
They needed to know what had happened. I needed their strength, their love. But for now, I had to focus on escaping.
Suddenly, I saw a group of people ahead. My heart leaped with hope, but I also felt a pang of fear. What if they were part of Leon’s plan?
What if this was a trap? But I couldn’t afford to be cautious. I had to take the risk.
I approached the group, breathless and trembling. Relief washed over me when I recognized the uniforms of the guards from Luca’s pack.
My heart swelled with gratitude. They were my salvation.
“Help me,” I gasped, my voice barely above a whisper. “Please, help me.”
The guards exchanged concerned glances before one of them stepped forward. “You’re safe now,” he said, his voice firm and réassuring. “We’ll take you back to the pack.”
I could barely believe my luck. Relief washed over me like a tidal wave, and I felt my knees buckle. The guards caught me, supporting me as we made our way through the forest.
They told me the pack was nearby, and I felt a glimmer of hope. I knew I would be safe with them. I just knew it.
As we walked, my mind raced with thoughts of Nolan, Rowan, and the baby. I couldn’t wait to be reunited with them, to tell them what had happened.
I needed their strength, their love, more than ever. And I knew that together, we would face whatever came our way.
The guards led me through the forest, and my thoughts turned to the future. I was determined to protect my family, to keep them safe from the threats that loomed.
Leon might be out there, plotting and scheming, but I wouldn’t let him win. I would fight for my happiness, for the life I wanted with Nolan and Rowan.
And with their love and support, I knew I could overcome anything.
Finally, we reached the pack’s territory. The guards led me through the gates, and I felt a surge of relief. I was safe. For now, at least, I was safe.
And I knew that Nolan and Rowan would come for me. They would find me, and we would face this together. Because no matter what, we were stronger together.
As the guards led me deeper into the pack’s territory, my heart raced with a mix of relief and anticipation. When I saw Luca standing there, a wave of emotion washed over me.
Without thinking, I ran to him and hugged him tightly. It wasn’t romantic; it was a hug filled with relief, gratitude, and the comfort of seeing a familiar face.
“Luca, I’ve missed you,” I whispered, feeling tears prickling at the corners of my eyes.
He hugged me back, his strong arms wrapping around me in a protective embrace.
“I’ve missed you too,” he replied, his voice a mix of relief and concern.
When I heard you were found in the forest, I feared the worst. If it was Nolan who did this, I swear I’ll—”
“No, it wasn’t Nolan,” I interrupted, pulling back to look him in the eye. “It wasn’t him. I need to tell you what happened.”
I quickly recounted the events of the past few hours, the abduction, and the horrifying realization that Leon Randev, my first mate who had rejected me, was behind it.
Luca’s expression darkened with every word, but he listened intently. Whe deep breath, clearly processing everything I had told him.
I finished, he took a
“I have my men searching the whole forest they will find him and bring him to me I will kill the motherfucker myself.” Luca said darkly
“Where’s Elara?” I asked, needing to see my dear friend, my confidante.
Luca’s expression shifted to one of sadness and concern. He sighed heavily and gestured for me to sit down. “There’s something you need to know,” he said, his voice gentle but serious.
I sat down, my heart pounding in my chest. Luca took a seat opposite me, his gaze fixed on mine. “Elara found out that you’re our missing sister,” he began. “She left to find you last week. She was determined to bring you back, but… it seems she hasn’t returned”
I blinked, struggling to process his words. “Missing sister?” I echoed, my mind reeling. “How… how is that possible?”
Luca looked at me with a mixture of sorrow and determination. “You and Elara have the same eyes and hair. The resemblance is undeniable. We never made the connection before, but when we discovered the truth, everything fell into place.”
Tears welled up in my eyes. I had always wondered about my true origins, never knowing my real parents or family. Now, to learn that Elara, my dear friend, was actually my sister… It was overwhelming.
Everything is happening so fast.
“I don’s understand,” I said, my voice trembling. “How are we related? I don’t know anything about my parents.”
Luca took a deep breath, his expression softening as he began to explain. “Years ago, our parents were attacked by a rival pack. They managed to save Elara, but they couldn’t save you. You were taken, and we feared the worst. We thought you were gone forever. But Elara never gave up hope. She always believed you were out there somewhere.”
I listened, tears streaming down my face. The pieces of my past, the questions that had haunted me for so long, were finally coming together.
“I’ve always felt different, like a part of me was missing,” I whispered. “Now I understand why. I always knew she was more than a friend and neither are you.”
Luca reached out and took my hand, squeezing it gently. “Elara’s out there looking for you,” he said. “She wants to bring you home, to reunite our family. And now that you’re here, we need to find her. We need to be together.”
The weight of his words settled over me, filling me with a sense of urgency and hope. I had found my family, but our reunion wouldn’t be complete until Elara was safe.
“We have to find her,” I said, my voice filled with determination. “We have to bring her back.”
Luca nodded, his eyes shining with resolve. “We will,” he promised. “We’ll find her, and we’ll bring her home. Together.”
In that moment, I felt a renewed sense of purpose. Despite the danger, the uncertainty, and the fear, I knew I wasn’t alone. I had a family, and together, we would face whatever challenges lay ahead.
As I sat there, holding Luca’s hand, I felt a spark of hope igniting within me. For the first time in a long while, I felt like I belonged. Is this everything settling into place? This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
