Our Billion-Worth Twins

Chapter 1586

Chapter 1586

Joanne pushed open the door to Edwin's office. There was a faint smell of rose perfume in the office.

Noah thought it was Edwin, so she deliberately tugged her collar down and gave a seductive smile. But when she turned her head and saw that it was Joanne, she froze.

"What are you doing here?" Noah glanced behind Joanne. Not seeing Edwin, she frowned in disappointment.

"This is my husband's office. Why can't it be me?" Joanne gracefully walked over to Edwin's desk, pulled out his chair, and sat down. "What do you want with Edwin?"

Seeing Joanne sitting in Edwin's chair, Noah looked slightly belligerent. "That’s Edwin's chair. Don't you know he hates people touching his stuff?" Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

'Why is she emphasizing that Edwin is her husband? Is she showing off to me?' Noah sneered inwardly.

"Really?" Joanne looked at Noah’s exasperated look with a teasing smile and said, "But Edwin told me that as long as I like it, everything he has is mine. Even if I want a star, he'll get me one."

Noah felt so jealous when Joanne said "everything he has is mine".

She bit her lower lip and gave a sneer. "Don't fool me. I know you're Joanne. Edwin felt guilty and you have a daughter, so he married you. Don't be so proud! Edwin's father would never allow you to marry into their family!

"Four years ago, Uncle Harry kicked you out of the family. It won't change after four years. Do you think Uncle Harry will accept you after you change your name? You're daydreaming. Things won’t change!"

Joanne wasn't annoyed at all. She listened quietly to Noah's taunts.

She guessed that Noah could only use these useless taunts to try to anger her.

"So what? At least I'm married to Edwin and we have a daughter. You can't marry Edwin, so you can only post some old pictures, which were not even real.

"I don’t care the title, Ms. Atherton, but he kept pleading with me and insisted on taking me and Tail back to his house. Otherwise, I don't even bother to look at him.

'By the way, I've been wondering how it was such a coincidence that you spotted me and Patrick at the hotel four years ago. Actually, you set the whole thing up. I guess you were also part of it when I was hunted by killers, right?"

Joanne fixed her eyes on Noah's face to see her reaction.

Noah was not intimidated. "What proof do you have?"

"I don't need proof." Joanne took a sip of water from Edwin's glass and then continued, "You were Edwin's exgirlfriend, so I hate you. I don't want to see you in Sapphire

City, and Edwin will get you out of the city for me because he's crazy about me. He can't live without me..."

Noah's eyes burned with jealousy and anger when she saw Joanne drinking from Edwin's glass.

"Stop lying. Edwin doesn't..."

Before Noah could finish her sentence, she suddenly saw a man come to the door in the mirror on the desk, and she immediately shut up.

Then, the door was pushed open.

It was Edwin, dressed in a smart suit. When Joanne saw Edwin, an embarrassed look appeared on her face. 'Wasn't he in a meeting? Why did he end the meeting so quickly?

'Did he hear my bragging? It's so embarrassing!'

Edwin had one hand in his pants pocket. He seemed unaware of the tension between the two women at all. He raised his eyebrows and dropped his eyes to Joanne, who was sitting in his chair.
