Chapter 17: •Fragrance•
Quinn:
The familiar fragrance of lavender invaded my sensitive nostrils as soon as I appeared in the living
room.
Just when I thought I was finally done with the woman, I realized she left her scent behind.
Though I was aware she was gone, my body reacted to the scent as though she was still there with
me.
I drew in a long ragged breath but Immediately regretted it because my cock twitched in my sweats,
furthermore reminding me that she was gone.
"Down buddy, it's just you and I now". I muttered to myself, squeezing it softly.
Exhaling a gush of air, I moved to the bedroom to get started on my mission to hunt down Gonzalez.
Getting to the bedroom, I went into the walk-in closet and retrieved the little flash drive and the laptop
I'd carried along.
The flash contained every detailed information I'd discovered about the general. While I was leaving for
Russia, I'd hidden them at an underground safe in my house that no one could figure out. It was for
security reasons.
With the flash drive and the laptop in hand, I returned to the living room where I sat on a couch and
placed the laptop on my lap, booting it. After the screen came on, I connected the flash to it,
immediately checking to see if everything I'd gathered was still intact. Luckily for me, they were still
intact. A little smile tugged at the corners of my lips.
Getting the information was the first step to completing my mission. But then, I needed a game plan to
take Gonzalez down. As much as I'd have loved to kill him with my bare hands, It was a risk I couldn't
take. It meant letting the government and the general public know beings like me existed. Thus, my
only option was to expose him and hope they don't let him get his way out.
To do that, I needed to strategize a plan.
All possible ways of getting rid of the General swarmed my thoughts but they all pointed to me at the
end. That was exactly what I couldn't risk. After another hour of thinking of ways to execute my plan,
the priest popped into my mind.
That was it. The last piece of the puzzle.
The best way of getting rid of Gonzalez was through the priest, Elliott. That way, I'd kill two evil birds Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org
with one stone. But then, to achieve my plan, I needed to cause chaos between them.
A smile lit up my face as different ways of carrying out my plan flooded my head.
At that moment, the information I'd found out about Rhea being Elliot's daughter hovered around my
head, brewing the perfect way to execute my plan.
My identity as a ghost was going to help achieve my plans.
