MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Chapter 168_ The happy ending 1

Few weeks later….

A church was decked out in flowers and greenery, with white roses and lilies adorning the altar and pews.Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Garlands of ivy and ferns draped the archway where the bride and groom would exchange their vows.

Hanging from the ceiling were hundreds of tiny fairy lights, giving the church a magical glow.

The smell of fresh flowers filled the air, mingling with the scent of beeswax candles that flickered in the candelabras.

Amelia glided down the aisle, her gown flowing behind her like a cloud.

The fabric was soft and light, embellished with delicate beading and lace. Her veil floated behind her, held in place by a small tiara on her head.

Her face was radiant, her eyes shining with

happiness. As she walked, the crowd fell silent, captivated by her beauty.

Her every step was graceful and elegant, and it seemed like time itself had stopped to watch her journey down to him…

As she made her way down the aisle, all eyes turned to the person who was walking beside her, her father.

He looked proud and happy, his arm linked with his daughter’s. His face was beaming with love and joy as he watched her take the biggest step of her life.

Amelia held on to him tightly, grateful for his presence and support. Even though he hadn’t been there for her since she was a child she was still proud that he was giving her away to the man she loved.

“I’m so glad that you are here today to give me away”

“If I don’t give you away who will? don’t ruin your makeup by shedding tears now” Anthony said in return…

Amelia smiled back at him as she stood beside Liam.. she took notice of his attire.

He was dressed in a navy blue three-piece suit, with a crisp white shirt and a matching navy blue bowtie. His shoes were black, polished to a shine.

And of course, the piece de resistance: the bow tie. It was a navy blue silk number, perfectly matched to his suit.

He looked sharp, stylish, and ready for the biggest day of his life. As he stood at the altar, he exuded confidence and grace. He was ready to say “I do” to the love of his life.

“You look absolutely stunning,” he said, his eyes full of wonder and adoration.

“I can’t believe I’m this lucky to have you in my life.” he added, Amelia smiled at him, her heart soaring with joy.

“I’m the lucky one,” she replied, her voice trembling slightly with emotion.

“You know I can’t wait to free you of that dress and pin you under me” Liam whispered which made Amelia turn red…

Dylan cleared his throat by Liam’s side.. he was here today as Liam’s best man..

“Dude this is a holy place.. mind your words” Dylan cautioned..

“His shamelessness still amazes me till date” James added…

Steven scoffed “Look at who’s talking”

“Hey guys it’s my wedding today please don’t ruin it with your banters.. as you can see the media is here!” Liam scolded.

These were the men who had been there for him through thick and thin, and who would always have his back.

Dylan was dressed in a sleek black tuxedo, looked proud and excited to be a part of this special day.

The groomsmen, also decked out in tuxedos, looked dapper and ready to celebrate.

Meanwhile….

Anthony handed Cecile a bouquet of roses, she stared down at the roses then back to his face..

“What is this for?”

“Well roses are said to be the symbol of love… and I got them just for you” Anthony explained briefly…

“Mum Cecile.. there’s nothing wrong in accepting the flowers..” Clara chimed in..

Cecile hesitated for a while before she accepted the bouquet.. she forced a smile at him “Thanks”

“And by the way you look stunning in that dress”

Cecile blushed hard, she thought he didn’t notice but he did..

“Well you too”

“Aren’t they sweet Karl?” Clara commented tapping his arm…

Karl turned his attention to them, he wished for Cecile to give Anthony another chance… Her anger was justified but he has done enough to appease her..

“hmm.. I’m sure they would make a good pair if they were together”….

Nora leaned forward to Aidan’s ears “So does this mean that we are married too?”

Aidan shrugged.. all he knew was that he was dressed up like a groom… and it was also surprising to see Nora in a small wedding dress..

“I hope not!”

After the couples finished exchanging rings and their vows.. they were proclaimed husband and wife…

The congregation stood up and applauded the latest couple as they made their way out of the church…

.

The reception was taking place in a beautiful garden, with lush greenery and colorful flowers everywhere you look.

There were fairy lights strung up in the trees, casting a warm glow over the scene.

Guests were seated at tables with crisp white linens, and the table settings are adorned with fresh flowers and greenery.

A string quartet was playing classical music in the background, providing a soothing ambiance.

As the sun sets, the garden was illuminated by lanterns, creating a magical atmosphere. The reception was a dream come true, a fairytale setting for a celebration of love.

The newlyweds walked into the reception venue arm in arm. As they entered, everyone turned to look at them, and there was a burst of applause and cheers.

Amelia was putting on a sleek and sophisticated cocktail dress, while Liam was in a dapper tuxedo.

They looked like a million bucks! They made their way to the center of the garden…, where the first dance as husband and wife is about to begin.

The band started playing a slow, romantic song and the bride and groom gaze into each other’s eyes. It’s a moment of pure bliss, captured in time.

“I really don’t believe in all these dancing.. why don’t we save our energy for later?”

Amelia chuckled at Liam’s shamelessness “Mr Arrogant.. this is necessary.. If we disappear now.. everyone will know what must have happened”
