My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball

Chapter 25

Chapter 25

Why Is It You! Rosalie was stunned. The Fullers? From her understanding, there was only one family in the medicine business in Coast City with the Fuller surname.

And she happened to have a history with that family.

Thinking of this, Rosalie frowned slightly. She only hoped that she would not be that unfortunate to meet the person she did not want to see the most.

Not long later, the two reached the coffee shop that was agreed on.

The person from the medicine business had not arrived.

Rosalie and Yves first found a seat and ordered two cups of coffee while waiting for the other. About ten minutes later, someone knocked on the door of the booth.

“They‘re here.”

Yves braced himself and said to Rosalie beside him.

Rosalie nodded and stood up. “Please come in,” she said. Almost instantly, the door pushed open, and a man‘s voice sounded. “Our apologies, we‘re late.”

Rosalie looked up and ahead and ended up meeting Wendy Fuller. Rosalie sighed and thought, ‘You truly attract what you fear.’

Wendy stared in wide–eyed amazement. Her voice was a little sharp from her agitation. “You... Rosalie Jacobs? Why is it you!”

Did she not disappear long ago? Why would she appear here?

Seeing Wendy‘s reaction, Yves and Carl were somewhat surprised. With an attitude that took the other as a cooperating partner, Yves kindly asked, “President Fuller, do you know Dr. Jacobs?”

Wendy‘s expression changed again. “Dr. Jacobs?”

“This is the general director of our research institute, Rosalie Jacobs. Learning that we will be signing a contract today, she had purposefully joined me to show the sincerity of our research institute,” introduced Yves. Wendy‘s expression instead became uglier and uglier. She just wanted to know when Rosalie Jacobs came back!

Byron confessed to her for the first time in six years this morning that his intention was to call off the engagement, did it have something to do with Rosalie? Did he...already know about Rosalie‘s return? More so, had they already met? Wendy felt increasingly uneasy when she thought about it. Looking at Rosalie in front of her, her expression clouded over. Compared to her, Rosalie‘s expression was much calmer, as if she was meeting Wendy for the first time.

Expression distant, she parted her lips and asked straightforwardly, “President Fuller, do you want to proceed to discuss our contract?” Hearing her voice, Wendy shoved her thoughts away and looked at her for a few seconds. Her expression was slightly cold, and her gaze was somewhat amused. “Of course, Dr. Graham had been working hard with us for so long for this contract. Naturally, I won‘t let his efforts be wasted.”

Then, she called the waiter and ordered four more cups of coffee. Between their coffee breaks, Wendy‘s gaze roamed Rosalie slightly gloomily. Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Rosalie had changed a lot in the past six years, although she was unwilling to admit it. She was different from how she used to be, timid. Now, her just sitting there made it seem like she was showing off, her beauty and imposing manner almost overwhelmed her.

As for her!

Six years had passed, and she had not changed the slightest. She now had lesser hope for the person she was so close to having. Realizing this, Wendy‘s hands that were under the table clenched tightly into fists as she filled with jealousy. “I would really like to cooperate with your research institute, but I don‘t think the price we discussed before is very appropriate. Since the person in charge, Dr. Jacobs just so happens to be here, I hope we can discuss the price again.” Wendy put on a professional smile, but her eyes were filled with coldness. Hearing this, Yves was about to answer when Rosalie interrupted him and asked back coldly,“ President Fuller means to say...?” “I hope to increase the original price by two points.” Wendy answered coldly.
