"Is that so?" James frowned slightly but did not press further.

“Additionally, regarding Dustin's elimination of the Cave and Harmon families, my investigation uncovered some hidden truths," Madison said.

"Share everything you've learned,” James said coldly.

"According to reliable intelligence, the Fox family massacre from years ago implicated many factions. The Cave and Harmon families were among those involved. Their rapid rise afterward was no coincidence. It came as a direct result of that operation.

“Agent Seven, do you realize what you're saying?" he demanded in a sharp and reprimanding voice. "Remember your role! You are an Amber agent of the Outlaws Department. You represent justice itself! "Not reckless slaughter? Revenge? Is that what an agent of the Outlaws Department should be saying?" Madison was at a loss for words. Her heart sank as she processed her misstep.

How could she have said that?

Had she really just spoken in defense of Dustin Fox?

"No matter his motives, murder is murder. He slaughtered countless people from two big families. He's guilty beyond redemption!

"And on top of that, he killed the General of the West... That alone is an unforgivable capital crime! He will never be able to pay for his sins!"

Madison's face stiffened.

"That was out of line. I apologize," she said quickly and bowed in acceptance of her mistake.

James gave a curt nod.

"It's fortunate that I, and not

someone else, heard this. If anyone else had, your career in the Outlaws Department would be over. Rest assured. I'll keep this to myself."

Madison could only bow deeply in gratitude.

Madison nodded in agreement.

Then, lowering her head slightly, she hesitated and asked, “Mr. Harris, how do you plan to apprehend Dustin?"

and transport him to Central Harbor for trial," he said with finality

Madison's brows furrowed slightly.

The martial artist inhibitors were tools reserved for capturing the most dangerous criminals. They inflicted significant harm and were rarely used.

If Dustin was captured by them, he would lose all his strength and would be left completely at the mercy of his captors.

"Remember, do exactly as I command during the operation. Any mistake could jeopardize the mission, and both of us will face severe consequences!" James said seriously.
