Chapter 191
Chapter 19: Chapter 191
Dustin held the final bullet delicately between Bis fingers. His eyes shone with a mocking glint as he gazed at the three trembling people before him.
"So," he said in a calm and icy voice, "who do you think deserves this one?"
The three of them were paralyzed with fear. They trembled like leaves in the wind.
Dustin casually pointed his finger toward Phoebe. She immediately fell to the floor.
"It's him! He's the one who planned it all! I was just manipulated into following along!" Phoebe screamed and pointed an accusing finger at Aaron "You-!" Aaron's eyes widened in rage and disbelief.
"It was her! It was all her idea! She planned everything!" he screeched.
The two began to hurl insults at one another.
In moments of life and death, human nature revealed itself. By the looks of it, it was nothing but a vicious display of mutual betrayal. Dustin shifted his aim toward Peté. Overwhelmed by terror, the man immediately dropped to his knees and bowed before Dustin.
"I was just following orders! It was Aaron who wanted to kill you, not the Crimson Gang! Please, spare me!" he said pleadingly.
Dustin did not shoot the bullet at anyone. Instead, he flicked it away with a disdainful smirk. The small metallic clink was enough to send all three diving to the floor while clutching their heads in panic.
The acrid stench of urine filled the air. It was unclear who it was from. It could have easily been all of them.
“Who's the leader of the Crimson Gang?” Dustin suddenly asked as he frowned.
Pete hurried to respond, but Dustin cut him off. "Never mind. It doesn't matter.".
Dustin pulled out his phone and made a quick call.
"Tell Blake to come to the Mirage. Right now," he said flatly before hanging up.
The three exchanged stunned glances.
Who was Blake?
Why would he call him here?
Only Pete's expression shifted slightly, as if the name struck a faintly familiar chord.

Dustin reclined on the sofa calmly. The trio did not dare move.
Minutes ticked by, and restlessness began to build outside the room.
"Mr. Kane, is everything alright in there?" asked a cautious voice from behind the door. "Stand guard! No one is coming inside!" Pete bellowed in response, and his voice cracked slightly.
There were still dozens of the Crimson Gang members outside, but he did not dare call them in.
Dustin could end his life as effortlessly as one might swat a fly.
Aaron threw him panicked glances and tried to signal him to act, but Pete ignored him. Better to stay alive than follow a fool's lead. Calling them in would be like sending lambs to the slaughter.
More time passed.
Suddenly, a commanding voice boomed from outside. "The Crimson dogs are here. Clear out! Every single one of you, get lost!"
The hallway fell deathly silent. The Crimson Gang, who were infamous for their brutality, weirdly did not even respond to such insults. Footsteps approached the door with an air of deliberate confidence.Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.
Knock! Knock!
The taps on the door were soft, almost cautious.
"Mr. Fox, may I come in?" a deep voice asked from outside.
"Enter," Dustin said casually.
The door opened, and a man stepped inside.
The trio saw the man clearly.
Aaron and Phoebe did not recognize him.
But Pete froze, and his face drained of color. "The Panther Gang's leader!" he stammered with a cracking voice.
At last, the name "Blake" clicked.
Blake Torell, the infamous leader of the Panther Gang, was the undisputed ruler of the Honora underground.
His status was too high and his infamous reputation too fearsome for anyone to dare to
utter his name directly.
"What?! He's the leader of the Panther Gang?" Aaron and Phoebe gasped in shock.
They knew full well who ruled the underground in Honora.
But something else terrified them even more.
