Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time

Divorce LONG 427

A crowd had gathered around Maggie and Johnny,

When they saw Academician Holden and Professor Zane approaching, everyone began to move to greet them, but Academician Holden raised his hand, signaling them to remain quiet.

With that, Academician Holden and the others stood at the edge, listening attentively as Johnny and Maggie answered questions from the audience.

At the event, there were many people who had graduated from prestigious universities, individuals with impressive capabilities and knowledge.

While answering questions, Maggie and Johnny occasionally encountered a few people who were able to engage in meaningful discussions with them.

In the back–and–forth exchanges, those with broad knowledge were thoroughly enjoying the

conversation,

while those who lacked the background, especially in areas like raw material manufacturing, felt as though they were listening to something entirely foreign, like hearing the words of a completely different language.

Professor Zane and Academician Holden were clearly among those who could keep up with the conversation. Julia could mostly understand as well.

In fact, after some time interacting with others, Maggie and Johnny were aware of the gap in knowledge between themselves and the rest. Whenever they talked, they instinctively simplified things for others.

Academician Holden and Professor Zane listened eagerly, clearly enjoying the discussion.

Just as they were about to continue listening, someone noticed Academician Holden and Professor Zane and exclaimed in surprise, “Ah, it’s Academician Holden and Professor Zane!”

Maggie and Johnny both paused and followed the direction of everyone’s gaze. Sure enough, they spotted Academician Holden and Professor Zane–along with Franklin, Julia, and Levi.

Maggie and Johnny chose to ignore Franklin and Julia. Since Academician Holden had arrived, Johnny noveldrama

stopped talking and walked over with Maggie to greet them.

“Academician Dunn, Professor Zane,” Johnny greeted them.

Academician Holden smiled, clapping his hands in approval. “As expected of Mr. Nolan’s student. Truly impressive.”

Johnny smiled but didn’t respond right away.

Academician Holden continued, “I’m not surprised by your brilliance, but I’m genuinely surprised by this young lady beside you. She’s just as impressive as you. Now that’s what really amazes me.”

He smiled and asked, “Aren’t you going to introduce her?

Johnny paused before saying, “This is Maggic, one of our technical staff at Cole.”

“Ah, so she’s from Cole,” Academician Holden responded, impressed. “It’s rare to find someone as young and talented as you at your company. No wonder Cole is doing so well.”

Johnny modestly replied, “You flatter me.”

Professor Zane also stepped forward to greet them.

Hearing Maggie speak so fluently with the others, Julia was genuinely surprised.

It seemed that Maggie wasn’t as naive as Julia had initially thought. Johnny, being a student of Nolan, was extremely capable, so it made sense that Maggie had been learning under him.

But materials science was only one part of the equation.

Maggie, just like her, had graduated from university at 18, so it was clear that her learning ability was top–notch. If she put her mind to it and kept learning under Johnny, it wasn’t too surprising that she was gaining knowledge.

When Julia had first heard that Maggie had skipped several grades and got into the country’s top university, A University, she had thought she was exceptional.

However, after a couple of years, Julia realized that Maggie’s performance in university wasn’t as impressive as her SAT results. She hadn’t participated in many international competitions.

In contrast, even though Julia’s own college entrance exam scores hadn’t been as outstanding as Maggie’s, she had won several awards during university, which led her to a direct offer from a top graduate program, eventually completing her PhD smoothly.

Thinking back on this, Julia smiled as she looked at Maggie, listening to Academician Holden’s praise. But she didn’t say anything.

She turned her head and glanced at Franklin,

Franklin remained calm, looking elsewhere, seemingly indifferent to Academician Holden’s compliments towards Maggie.

Just like Julia, he didn’t seem to think Maggie was as impressive as everyone else did.

Julia smiled softly to herself.

As for the advanced materials, Al, and other high–tech fields, to Levi, it all sounded like an alien language.

As he listened to Maggie talk fluently with the group, with Academician Holden showering her with praise, Levi felt somewhat bewildered.

He turned to Franklin and Julia, “She… she’s really that amazing?”

Before Franklin could speak, Julia grinned and answered, “What do you think?”

Levi was speechless. “…”

How would he know?

If he knew, would he still need to ask them?

But seeing how Julia and Franklin were acting, it seemed that they didn’t think much of Maggie’s abilities

either.

Julia noticed that Academician Holden was likely going to continue talking with Maggie and Johnny for a

while.

She turned to Franklin and said, “Franklin, don’t you have something to do? Should we leave first?”

Franklin nodded. “Sure.”

With that, he took two steps forward and said to Academician Holden, “Academician Dunn, we have

other matters to attend to, so we’ll be leaving now.”

Academician Holden smiled and nodded. “Alright, take care.”

Franklin glanced at Maggie briefly before turning to leave with Julia and Levi.
