Chapter 621
He did it for his son and for himself. It was a must.
"I haven't even had the chance to say 'I love you,' Whitney."
Whitney shot back, "Dream on. Even after being your prisoner for a month, the moment I get back, I'm cutting ties with you for good! And if I happen to get pregnant, I'll end it without hesitation!"noveldrama
Ludwik felt her harsh words cut through him, the thought of her wanting to terminate his child was unbearable.
His jaw clenched, a cold resolve in his eyes, "If you're thinking of terminating again, I'll have no choice but to keep you here until the baby is born, a year from now."
Before Whitney could explode in anger, he calmly added, "Don't doubt my capabilities. I can easily keep you confined on this island for a year. You might not be aware, but Lippert Enterprises is in partnership with Skyfaith Technologies. Soon, the world's most advanced chip, WisdoChip, will revolutionize the market and elevate the Lippert family to the pinnacle of success. Just think about it, with my standing in Harmonia, who could possibly challenge me?"
His tone was even, but his words were filled with outrageous confidence.
Whitney was stunned. Lippert Enterprises had indeed formed a powerful alliance with Skyfaith, which was dominating the high-end market in Harmonia.
This move had significantly boosted Lippert Enterprises' position, making Ludwik's name synonymous with invincibility. It seemed no law or leader could touch him now.
His warm breath enveloped her, a gentle caress yet also a dark shadow, "Darling, bear me a daughter, and everything I have will be for our three children. If not for yourself, think about their future. All my business ventures would be meaningless without you and the kids. You and they give my life meaning. Do you understand?"
Whitney shuddered internally. Why couldn't he have realized this sooner? His obsession was terrifying.
In her reluctance to accept his forced affections, she felt immense pain and resentment.
Ludwik kissed her forehead softly.
Her forehead was clouded with confusion, unable to relax.
He smiled, lifting a corner of his mouth confidently, "Don't be so quick to judge. Maybe spending every day here with me, enjoying the sweet moments, you might fall back in love with me. Remembering the feeling of loving someone just takes a little review. Let's have a little faith in each other, after all, we've loved deeply before."
Whitney pushed away his muscular arm, her face stiff, not wanting to speak anymore.
He took her hand, ignoring her displeasure, "Come, the island has much to offer. Let's go surfing. Forget all worries; it's just you and me here." But Whitney couldn't and didn't want to forget.
The desolation of the island, the call of the wild that went unanswered, indeed the beautiful scenery could wear down one's will.
She didn't want to succumb to his control, to waste away here.
Nightfall.
After rummaging through the villa's kitchen, Whitney found no medication.
It seemed the housekeeper had been careful, following his instructions.
She had hoped to find something to induce her period faster, but it was futile.
Especially now, she was in danger; she couldn't let him touch her.
While showering, Whitney stared at his razor on the washbasin and finally got an idea.
Quickly, she used the sharp blade to cut a discreet spot on the inside of her arm, wincing as she smeared the blood on her pants.
After completing her setup, she came out to find Ludwik lounging in a bathrobe, his tall frame lazily sexy as he sat on the bed, a book in hand. At her appearance, his eyes darkened, the book forgotten as he moved towards her, intending to envelop her into bed.
Whitney blurted out immediately, "Do you have any tampons? My period just started!"
"So soon?" Ludwik's skepticism was evident, his disbelief clear as he raised an eyebrow, "Trying to avoid pregnancy by pretending, Whitney?" "You think I'd lie about this?" she roared back defiantly, "Check for yourself if you don't believe me."
Her pale complexion and colorless lips added to her feigned distress.
Ludwik, observing her like a hawk, said nothing and pushed her onto the bed to check. Discovering the stained pants, he was momentarily lost, unfamiliar with these matters, his face turning grim.
"Just my luck, your period starts now," he muttered, though his expression soon became contemplative. There was no rush; he planned to keep her here, and aside from these few days, she couldn't escape.
"My stomach hurts," Whitney declared, seeing his constipated expression and feeling a surge of satisfaction.
Immediately, he dressed her, placing his palm on her lower abdomen with a concerned frown, "Lie down. I'll have someone prepare something for you, maybe some ginger tea."
Ludwik made a call to the housekeeper.
Whitney expected him to leave and give instructions.

But the shameless man stayed, holding her in bed and gently massaging her, "You've just had a miscarriage, I've heard women are more prone to colds then which can lead to infertility, is that right? Let me
massage you properly."
Whitney's face stiffened; she hadn't been pregnant, so how could she have had a miscarriage?
Forced to lie in his embrace, feeling his strength and warmth, she was momentarily lost before snapping back to reality.
His tender care, all for the sake of her bearing his child!
Her expression turned cold, allowing him to fuss over her, even changing her sanitary pads.
Ludwik held her through the night, enduring silently. As dawn broke, he watched her sleepily, waking her with a kiss.
The next few days followed the same pattern, forcing Whitney to be extremely cautious, applying blood to her pants daily to avoid arousing his suspicion.
Fortunately, he was clueless about the intricacies of women's issues.
Until six days had passed.
Whitney could no longer keep up the charade, and Ludwik, who had been counting the days, brought her a
beautiful swimsuit one morning
"Whitney, your period must be over
thew. We haven't gone anywhere
these past few days."
At the eastern edge of the island, there's a place we call Devil's Drop, right above Sea Bay. It's a cliff with a deep cave below, where the ocean is a stunning shade of blue. We're heading there for some diving."
He summoned his private yacht.
However, Whitney seemed fixated on the swimwear that looked almost like a bikini, pristine white and pretty, but revealing a bit too much for her taste.
She instinctively covered her arms.
"I'm not a fan of swimming. Go by yourself if you want!" Her tone was as cool and distant as ever, a clear refusal. "Leave me out of it; I just want to sleep."
Ludwik was used to her turning down dates by now.
He didn't seriously consider her opinion. As she walked into the bedroom, revealing her slim, pale legs, he scooped her up over his shoulder with a mischievous smirk, "Looks like I'll have to kidnap the maiden then!
Trust me, once you see Devil's Drop, any wish you make there will come true."
"You..." Whitney found herself perched awkwardly on his neck.
It was almost comical, like a child playing a horse-riding game.
Feeling both speechless and embarrassed, she had grown too weary to resist these past days. No matter how much she pushed back, he always had the upper hand with brute strength and sheer persistence.
Defeated, she gradually stopped putting up a fight.

But that swimsuit was out of the question, it would reveal her scars. Tugging at his dark hair, she protested, "I'm worried about getting a tan! need a sun-protective maxi dress, prepare that for me, on won't go at all."
