Chapter 672: Don't Just Get into a Stranger's Car
Wraith slowly stepped aside, pinching Grace's face to make her look towards the gate. There, Jared and Tina stood hand in hand, smiling radiantly at her. Grace's eyes widened in disbelief at the sight. "What's going on? Wasn't Jared already hooked?"
"How could this be!"
"Where am I?"
Jared waved at Grace, "Don't just get into a stranger's car."
After saying that, he wrapped his arm around Tina's waist and they walked away.
Grace was utterly devastated, as if she could see the end of her life approaching. What she didn't know was that with Wraith, dying wouldn't be so easy.
Wraith pulled a spray from Grace's bag, examining it in his hand, "Ouch, isn't this my little treasure? This drug is fierce; I developed it years ago and never had the chance to use it. Just one drop, and you'll be in agony wanting to live and die." Grace swallowed hard, defiantly saying, "What... what do you want to do to me? I'm telling you, don't touch me!"
Wraith sneered, "Ma'am, are you alright? Even if I desperately wanted to sleep with you, it would be to your benefit, not mine. Where's this confidence coming from?"
With that, Wraith sprayed half the bottle beneath her, "I've never seen what a woman desperate to the extreme looks like."
Within just a second, Grace couldn't bear it and screamed out in pain.
It was excruciating.
Wraith enjoyed watching someone struggle between life and death, and glancing at the curiously looking Lily Ward, he came up with another wicked idea.
He said to Lily Ward, "Lily, this woman loves Jared so much, and it's because of her that Jared abandoned you."
Suddenly, Lily Ward, who had been calm, turned violent, striking Grace while shouting, "Tina, you wretch, I'll kill you!"
At this moment, Grace had lost all reason, pulling Lily Ward's hand towards herself.
Lily Ward, now frenzied, was nearly tearing Grace apart.
The operating table quickly became a bloody mess, but the two, one crazed and one faint, knew nothing and continued their actions.
Poor Grace, ever since she arrived in Ashbury, had been beaten continuously.
Even now, she couldn't escape this fate!
Wraith, on the side, cheered wildly, having not seen such an interesting scene in a long time. Grace must be a great vessel! Elsewhere, Jared and Tina, who had just left the YQ lab, walked up to their car.
Just as Tina was about to open the door, Jared grabbed her wrist, "I gave this car to Wraith, let's switch to another one." "Why are you so wasteful?" Tina scolded.
If she remembered correctly, Jared had just picked up this car a couple of days ago; when had he become so wasteful!
Despite the scolding, Jared didn't get in the car, a look of disgust on his face as he took off his suit jacket, throwing it along with the car keys onto the car roof.
"This car and the clothes have been touched by Grace, they're dirty."
Tina burst out laughing, "That's what this is about?"
"It's not a small matter," Jared said seriously.
Anything that other women had touched, he couldn't let his Tina touch it-too disgusting, it would dirty Tina's hands!
Tina nodded in agreement, "Alright, let's do that!"
As she was speaking, Nathan drove up, "Mr. Farrell, ma'am, please get in the car."
Just as Tina got into the car, her phone rang from an unknown number.
Her number was generally not known to many, and spam calls couldn't get through; who could it be?

Tina glanced at Jared and answered the phone on speaker, "Who is this?"
"Tina... Tina, it's really you! I'm, I'm in a sanatorium, I..."
"Give it to me."
Two voices came through the phone; the first was somewhat childish, also hurried and anxious.
The second voice was weak, with an unstable breath as if recovering from a serious illness.
But it was a voice Tina somewhat recognized.
"Griffin?"
Griffin paused, "It's me, Tina, come quickly, I..."
Before he could finish, the call was abruptly disconnected.
Tina listened to the dial tone, tried calling back again, but no one answered.
"This isn't right, who was that? A sanatorium? Why does that sound so familiar?"
Tina furrowed her brows, most importantly, why would Griffin be calling her, asking her to come quickly?
Jared had already started to trace Griffin's signal, locating it to a certain sanatorium.
"Shall we go now?" Jared asked.
Tina hadn't made up her mind yet and dialed Damian's number.
"Tina, what's up?" Damian answered quickly.
"Did Griffin call you? Has he woken up?"
Damian was clearly startled, "Griffin woke up! No one from the sanatorium has called me, how did he reach you?"
"I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking you, haven't you heard anything?" Tina said, her brow furrowed, feeling that the call was out of the ordinary.
Damian's tone was also serious, "I'll call the sanatorium right away, don't worry, I'll get back to you soon."
"Okay."
After hanging up, Tina leaned back in the leather seat, her eyes low, her delicate cheeks cold, not revealing what she was thinking, a chill slowly emanating from her. Jared turned to look at her, taking her hand, "I hope-this isn't the outcome we wanted!"
Tina looked up into his deep eyes and suddenly smiled, her smile blossoming like a hundred flowers, bright and dazzling. Indeed!
Only her Uncle truly understood her.
With just one look, Uncle could understand what she was thinking.
Tina rolled down the window, looking at the traffic outside, and said slowly, "Some people are having too good a time."Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
Has her temper improved since being with Uncle, making some people think she can't wield a knife anymore?
Hmm!
Interesting!
Soon, Damian called back.
"Tina, I've found out, Griffin indeed woke up, but for some reason, he's acting abnormally, and the sanatorium doesn't know what to do. There's also a man with him, I don't know who he is, but I've booked a flight to go there, don't worry." Tina responded calmly, "I'll go with you."
"Alright, I'll book the tickets together."
