Chapter 92: Mr. Lawrence, Have You Signed The Papers?

After hearing Neve's words, Nancy instantly understood and smiled, "These fans are great, trust them."

Neve, with a slight smile on his lips, said, "Yeah, fans are great now."

They looked at each other, a certain idea coincided.

……

Albi drove straight to the office and didn't speak because Zane was in a bad mood.

As the car stopped at the intersection, waiting for the traffic light to turn green, Zane looked up at Albi

and whispers, "Go to Bonnie's studio."

When Albi heard Zane, he started slightly. He looked up in the rear view mirror at Zane, who was sitting

in the back seat. He dared not to ask anymore.

After the light turned green, Albi switched lanes, made a U-turn, and changed direction toward Bonnie's

studio.

At that moment, Bonnie opened the studio.

Leaning against the bathroom door, Bonnie knocked on the door and whispered, "Yanis, you've been in

there for half an hour."

The sound of water was still inside, but there was no Yanis' voice.

Just as Bonnie was about to push the door open and walk in, the water stopped and Yanis said, "I'm

done."

Bonnie frowned slightly when she heard Yanis' husky voice. "Are you crying?"

Yanis didn't say anything. She dried herself and got dressed before she came out.

Bonnie followed Yanis, "That scumbag bullied you when you went for him?"

Yanis responded while wiping her hair, "No."

Bonnie walked around to Yanis and looked her in the face. "That scumbag really didn't bully you?" "

Yanis' hands faltered. "No."

Bonnie still didn't believe it. When Bonnie was about to talk to Yanis, Bonnie's phone rang.

It was the studio number, Bonnie answered. "What's wrong?"

"Boss, there's someone for Miss Thompson."

When Bonnie heard this, she said, "Who is it? Tell his name!"

There was no respond. Just as Bonnie was about to speak again, a deep voice on her phone said, "It's

me."

Bonnie went furious when she heard that voice. She was about to call his name, but stopped in time,

"Wait!"

Bonnie hung up the phone and looked over at Yanis, "Yanis, get some sleep while you dried your hair.

I'll go do my job."

Yanis said, "OK."

Bonnie turned around and walked out of the room and down the stairs.

She found Zane sitting on a chair when she got down.

Bonnie walked over and stood in front of Zane. "Hey, Mr. Lawrence got some advantages from his long

legs, isn't he? Or how would he be here so fast?"

Instead of answering Bonnie, Zane looked up at her and asked, "Where's Yanis?"

Bonnie raised her eyebrows. "Yanis isn't here."

When Zane heard Bonnie's words, he frowned slightly and stared at her.

Bonnie felt guilty when Zane stared. "What are you looking at? As soon as you left, Yanis left too."

Bonnie paused, then added, "She was picked up by someone."

"Ivan?"

Bonnie was wondering whether to use Ivan as a shield when Zane spoke the name.

Bonnie pauses for two seconds, then said, "Yes!"

Zane's face remained the same. "Albi, get your madam down."

Albi, who was standing behind Zane, answered, lifted her feet and started upstairs.

After Bonnie figured out what he was doing, she jumped in front of Albi, "What are you doing? You're

breaking and entering!"

Zane stood up, brushed his collar. "Bonnie, I'm not using force for Yanis' sake, but that doesn't mean

you get to be involved with me and Yanis over and over again!"

Bonnie was a little nervous when Zane suddenly stood up.

But after hearing Zane's words, the nervous feeling instantly disappeared. She stared at Zane, "You

know it's about you and Yanis, so what's the deal with Neve's meddling? Why didn't you say anything

about that?"

Zane frowned when he heard Bonnie. As he was about to say something, there were footsteps at the

top of the stairs, followed by Yanis' voice, "Bonnie, do you have a medicine box?"

Zane and Bonnie both looked up at the top of the stairs.

Yanis stood there froze when she saw Zane standing below, her face immediately turned cold.

The first to break the silence was Bonnie, she asked, "Are you hurt?"

Yanis shook her head, "No."

She had been in bed for a nap, but suddenly reminded that they had not taken precautions that

morning, so she wanted to find some emergency medicine.

She just didn't expect Zane to be there.

"I'm going back to my room."

Yanis didn't plan to go downstairs. She said hello to Bonnie and turned to go back.

"Yanis."

As she turned around, Zane's voice came from below.

Yanis paused, then turned and looked downstairs at Zane. "Did Mr. Lawrence sign the papers? If we go

to the Civil Affairs Bureau at this time, the staffs there might be taking a lunch break. If Mr. Lawrence

doesn't mind, we can go directly in two hours. I'll wait for you there in advance."

Zane tried to say something, but Yanis' words choked him.

They just looked at each other a distance, one stood upstairs, the other downstairs.

Finally Zane turned away and left without a word.

Albi also looked confused and bowed to Yanis before following Zane out of Bonnie's office.

Bonnie looked at Zane's silhouette with a puzzled expression on her face. Then she looked back at

Yanis standing on the stairs. "Did you piss him off? Or..."

Yanis pressed her lower lip and went down the stairs. "Is there a medicine box?"

Bonnie shook her head. "What's wrong? Got a cold?"

"No." Then Yanis paused, "I'm going out. I'll be right back."

Yanis was out the door before Bonnie could say anything.

But as Yanis left the room, two guests arrived to pick up a wedding dress and gown. Bonnie wanted to

follow Yanis, but she had to stay to take care of the guests.

There was a 24-hour pharmacy just four to five minutes walk down the road from Bonnie's studio.

Yanis went through a shortcut in the alley. It only took two minutes to get there.

"Mr. Lawrence, that looks like her." Albi whispered something when he saw Yanis coming out of the

alley to cross the street.

Zane looked ahead.

Zane frowned when he saw Yanis crossing the street. "Drive over."

Albi pressed the gas pedal to drive closer to Yanis. Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
