Chapter 59 The Dance
"Go away!" Margaret used her other delicate foot that was not injured to kick him away.
"Don't move!" Charleston stopped her kick with his hand.
Margaret's feet were small, and they were definitely not as big as Charleston's hand.

Charleston did not want others to touch Margaret's foot, so he told the doctor that he would apply the
medicine.
He applied the ointment on her ankle.
The cool ointment on her wound immediately made Margaret feel better.
Larry could not help but ask, "Sir, the banquet is about to begin. Do you want me to inform them about
the accident?"
Charleston had promised the host to dance at the opening ceremony.
With Charleston's status, it was not a problem for him to be a no-show at the last minute.
"Why did you hurt yourself on purpose just to avoid attending the banquet with me?" Charleston stared
straight at Margaret.
"Because I don't want to be with you!" Margaret sneered.
Charleston's question was simply not valid.
She had reiterated to him many times that she did not hurt herself on purpose. Yet, this man still didn't
believe her.
Margaret was extremely disappointed.
If she had told him that she didn't want to dance with him at the opening ceremony as she didn't want
to be branded as his mistress, she knew that there would be no end to the teasing.
Yes, he would definitely tease her inside his heart, for thinking that she was someone to be honored.
"So, you want me to be with another woman?" Charleston asked indifferently.
"It doesn't matter."
"Say it again!" Charleston held her chin. He could not hold back his anger.
"It. Doesn't. Matter!" Margaret repeated. Could this man not understand human language?
Charleston's grip tightened.
His eyes seemed like they were about to pop right out of his socket from anger.
Just as Margaret started thinking that her chin was about to be crushed, he finally let go of his grip.
"Fine!" Charleston turned around and said, "Let's go to the dance floor."
"Who would be your companion?" asked Larry.
Charleston took a look around and locked his eyes on the only woman around besides Margaret.
"Miss Adams."
Suanne's eyes lit up in surprise.
Margaret felt her heart ache a little.
"Are you happy?" Charleston glanced at Margaret coldly.
Margaret pressed her lips together as she looked at Charleston and Suanne walking side by side
towards the dance floor.
Charleston left without any hesitation and did not look back at all.
He and Suanne sure looked compatible!
Margaret unconsciously dug her fingers into the sofa.
After a long time, the music changed, and the dance began.
The ointment on her foot was highly effective. It didn't take long for the pain to subside. Soon after,
Margaret could even start taking a few small steps.
Larry returned.
"Miss Simons, Mr. Limbaugh asked me to send someone to take you home." Larry said.
Margaret bit her lip and stood up. She walked over to the railing.
When she looked down, she could see what was going on at the dance floor.
Charleston and Suanne were standing at the heart of the dance floor. They were the most eye-catching
couple in the room.
The two of them were locked in a tight embrace as they danced to the music.
The surrounding air was heavy with romance and passion.
Although Margaret could not see Charleston's face, she could see the shy and bashful look on
Suanne's face.
She narrowed her eyes slightly.
Charleston had probably said something sweet to Suanne.
After all, Margaret had seen the ways Charleston sweet-talked.
"Let's go." Margaret turned her head away from the scene.
Larry brought her out of the cruise ship.
Right after Margaret left, Charleston pulled himself away from Suanne at the dance floor emotionlessly.
"I don't feel well. Please carry on."
He did not like to be close to other women, even if it was Suanne.
