Chapter 43 The Anger In The Morning
Chapter 43 The Anger In The Morning
Joy stayed in the bathroom for a long time, so long that Jimmy found something wrong with her.
Hearing the sound of water flowing from the bathroom, Jimmy frowned unconsciously.
In fact, Joy just wanted to buy time. As long as she thought that she would sleep in the same bed with Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
Jimmy tonight, she felt particularly nervous. 'Who knew if this damn guy had any good intentions?'
With her hands on the water table, Joy looked at her flushed face in the mirror. She raised her hand
and brushed her face, which she thought was not the most exquisite one. She was a little confused.
According to Jimmy's conditions, he could have any kind of woman he wanted, sexy as rose, pure as
lily, or cute as a little girl.
But Joy couldn't figure out why Jimmy helped her and even signed a contract with her. 'If he really
wanted to get rid of Maggie, there was no need for him to look for a trouble maker like me.
Well, don't think about it. Maybe he just wants to make trouble for himself!'
Joy patted her face and complained in her heart.
When Joy came out of the bathroom, Jimmy was watching TV with the remote control in his hand.
His side face was immersed in the flickering light and shadow, which made him much sexy.
'It's okay for this man to not speak, and one can be annoyed as soon as he speaks. He was so quiet
that no one knew what he was thinking about, let alone guessing randomly!
Joy's long hair was still dripping, and she was wearing a bathrobe. Seeing that the man still didn't want
to talk to her, she lowered her head and walked to the bed to keep silent.
Jimmy turned off the TV and casually threw the remote control on the bedside table. He lay on his side,
as if he didn't care about Joy at all.
Hearing the noise, Joy raised her head and looked at Jimmy's silent back. She curled her lips with
grievance, turned around, walked to the drawer under the large screen, and picked up the hair dryer to
dry her hair.
In the quiet air, the sound of the hair dryer was particularly harsh. The man who closed his eyes and
pretended to be asleep on the bed had never moved. Joy didn't know if he had really fallen asleep.
Joy turned off the light, and the bedroom was suddenly dark. She groped to the other end of the bed
and gently climbed up, but was far away from Jimmy.
In the dark, Joy stared at the man with his back to her. She thought, 'It seems that he is really not
interested in me.'
Joy felt lucky that she had escaped the disaster, but at the same time, she was a little disappointed at
Jimmy's indifference to her. She couldn't see through this man.
Joy sighed slightly and turned her back to Jimmy. Because she didn't need to worry about what Jimmy
would do to her, she fell asleep in a few minutes and her even breathing could be heard in the
bedroom.
At this time, Jimmy, who had been asleep with his eyes closed, opened his eagle like eyes, which
looked even more profound in the darkness.
Jimmy turned around and gently held Joy in his arms. Looking at the quiet and lovely sleeping face of
Joy, he lowered his head and kissed her on the forehead.
Jimmy left her lips in a hurry. He couldn't help but lower his head and kissed on Joy's lips again and
again. Then he fell asleep with Joy in his arms with satisfaction.
Through the window, the sunshine sprinkled on the two people who were obviously still asleep on the
bed. It was warm and harmonious.
Joy had a good sleep. She seemed to have dreamed of something. She curled her lips and murmured
something.
Jimmy opened his sharp eyes and stared at the little woman in front of him. Seeing her so cute, he
smiled. He rested one of his hands under Joy's head and played with her black hair with the other.
Seeing that Joy slept so soundly, Jimmy thought of something and wanted to tease her.
In her sleep, Joy felt that there was a feather gently brushing her nose. She frowned and pushed away
the thing above her nose. She didn't feel itchy anymore. Her frown relaxed and she fell asleep.
But after a while, the itchy feeling spread over her nose again, and this time it was even itchier than
before. Joy sneezed and opened her eyes in a daze.
But when Joy saw the expressionless handsome face in front of her, Joy screamed in horror. Hearing
her roar, Jimmy frowned unhappily.
'How horrible am I?'
But before he could react, his stomach was hit by a force and he was kicked out of the bed.
Jimmy was shocked.
'This woman is so bold!'
It was too late for Joy to react when Jimmy fell on the ground.
Joy didn't kick him on purpose. When she woke up in the morning, she suddenly saw a man's face, so
she was frightened too much.
"Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean it."
"I was just too surprised. I... I'm sorry!"
The more Joy explained, the lower her voice became.
Looking at Jimmy's darkened handsome face, Joy shivered and pulled the quilt to hide herself from the
bed, trying to reduce her sense of existence.
"Please don't kill me!"
"Joy!"
"Yes!"
Jimmy finally recovered from the shock that he was kicked out of bed by a woman. He roared at Joy
like an angry lion.
Joy was so frightened that she shrank into the quilt, leaving her innocent big eyes blinking.
Jimmy stood up with flames in his eyes. He looked at Joy as if he was going to kill her. If eyes could kill
people, Joy believed that she had died hundreds of times now.
"Well, I... I didn't... I didn't it on purpose."
Joy lowered her voice and almost couldn't hear what she was saying.
Jimmy clenched his fists, blue veins popping out on his head, and the hostility on his body did not
decrease a little because of Joy's words.
How could he not be angry? For a man, it would hurt his self-esteem to be kicked out of bed by a
woman, not to mention a strong man like Jimmy.
Jimmy's body shook. Joy thought he was so angry that he wanted to hit her, so she closed her eyes
tightly. But after a while, she heard the door was slammed heavily. She opened her eyes and looked at
the bedroom, but found that Jimmy had already disappeared.
