Chapter 59 Private Helicopter
Chapter 59 Private Helicopter
"It seems to be... the sound of a helicopter." As he spoke, the scarred man looked up and saw the
treetops swaying violently above them with the sound of the propeller.
"Go and see if the police are here."
Isiah frowned. The boss had arranged the exchange at the Gefeag Wood Road. How was it that the
police were able to pinpoint their exact location so quickly?
The man with the scar ran over to a clearing and checked the approaching helicopter with a pair of
binoculars, and then ran back again, panting heavily. "It's a private helicopter, not the police."
"Don't let them ruin things. Put those two women in the helicopter and get out of here first."
Isiah looked at his watch. The boss and the police would arrive soon. It was time for them to set out for
Gefeag Wood Road.
"Yes."
As soon as Luz and Mia finished eating, they were pushed into the helicopter. Luz's heart began to
beat quickly as she watched the shipping containers they were held in getting covered by the trees
again.
"Henry, their helicopter!"
Lucas pointed at an area where the air was agitated. Sure enough, a helicopter appeared from the
dense forest.
Henry's jaw tightened and pursed his thin lips. He immediately picked up his binoculars to stare at the
helicopter. His eyes narrowed.
"What's wrong?"
When Lucas saw that there was something wrong with his expression, there was also a hint of
nervousness in his eyes.
"She's injured."
He could see her pale face. Obviously, she was injured. When he thought of the blood on the back
seat, his heart clenched.
"Don't worry. Maybe it's just a minor injury."
Lucas quickly comforted him, but it did not extinguish the anger and the frightening chill that exuded
from his friend.
"Follow it."
The man who was driving the helicopter in front of him immediately changed their direction and
followed the helicopter with Luz.
"Damn it, who are they?"
When he saw the other helicopter following them, Isiah frowned irritably. "Are you sure they are not the
police?"
The man with the scar looked panicked, but he still nodded with certainty. "I'm sure it's not the police."
"Then who's that busybody?"
Luz peered out to see the source of Isiah's frustration. Somehow, she managed to see Henry's face in
the helicopter following them.
Was she having a fever illusion due to the loss of blood and panic?
Henry should be with Emily, doing unspeakable things at the moment. Why would he be here?
"Isiah, I think I've seen that man on the TV. Henry something or other."
The man with the scar stared through the telescope was struggling to think of a complete name, but
Isiah was stunned. "Henry Maynard?"
Why was he here?
Hearing the words "Henry" coming out of Isiah's mouth, Luz felt as if something had pricked her heart.
She could not tell whether she was in pain or excited. What she saw just now was not an illusion. It was
really Henry!
"Could it just be a coincidence?"
The man with the scar muttered in a low voice, but it was obvious that their helicopter was following
them. How could it be a coincidence?
"If they're still following us, fire."
Isiah hesitated for a moment. They were more or less afraid of Henry's influence in North City, but they
couldn't care much about it right now. If he kept following them, he will get into a spot of tough luck.
As soon as Luz heard this, she became anxious. These people were desperate drug syndicates. No
matter how powerful Henry was in North City, he couldn't fight against these desperate criminals.
Mia has to hold her back so that she wouldn't stand up out of anxiety. Clearly, these people did not
know about her and Henry's relationship. This would be good for Henry's rescue attempt.
Luz managed to regain her rationality and pursed her dried lips, nodding to Mia in thanks. All she could
do right now was to wait for Henry and the police to save them.
In his helicopter, Henry tossed his binoculars aside. They were close enough now that he could see the
forced calmness on Luz's face clearly without them. "Hand me a gun."
"Here?"
Lucas did not expect him to actually take action in midair. He could not help but be shocked.
"Do you really think they didn't set up an armed ambush at Gefeag Wood Road? The police have
already made it clear that their main focus is on the success of the operation. Gefeag Wood Road is
the most dangerous place right now."
Although he was extremely anxious, it did not affect his rationale. It seemed dangerous to attack now,
but it was much safer here compared with the ambush of a large number of people.
"You really should think about a career in law enforcement."
After saying that, Lucas handed him a gun and all the ammunition they had. They were going to play
some real-life CS now.
When the gunshots sounded, Luz covered her ears instinctively. Isiah was shocked. "Sh*t, is this Henry
guy crazy?"
He picked up a gun and shot at the helicopter behind them.
The glass of the helicopter was broken, and her hair was a little messy because of the strong airflow.
Despite this, she suddenly felt calm, even though her heart was still pounding. She looked back at the
helicopter behind them.
The gunfight erupted in midair. Henry had four experienced mercenaries in his helicopter as well, so he
gained the upper hand.
The man with the scar suddenly let out a cry. He instinctively covered his neck with his hand, but he
couldn't stop the blood that spurted out from his neck. With a jolt of the helicopter, he fell out of the
open cabin door.
When he saw his companion falling out of the helicopter, Isiah was furious. He switched his weapon for
a machine gun and fired at the other helicopter.
"They have pretty strong firepower." Lucas laughed as he changed his own weapon.

"Go higher and get closer. Lucas, cover me." Henry narrowed his eyes to gauge the safest distance.
"No way, are you serious?" Lucas immediately understood what he wanted to do. Crazy, he must be
crazy.
Henry took off his suit jacket as if he didn't hear him. He pulled off his custom-made tie and wrapped it
around his right hand.
The helicopter pulled up. The distance between the two helicopters shortened quickly. They were so
close that the propellers almost hit each other.
Henry took the chance and jumped.
Luz, who had been watching, was so scared that her heart skipped a beat. Henry must be crazy to
have jumped out of a helicopter!
Lucas cursed, but his voice was drowned out by the loud sound of the propeller. He tossed his gun to
the mercenary behind him and jumped as well.
Bang! Bang! Bang! With every gunshot, Luz's heart seemed to stop for a second. She watched as the
two men in front of her fought. Isiah's gun was still steaming from the heat. Involuntarily, she searched
the other figure anxiously for wounds.
Henry's movements were quick, accurate, and ruthless. He snatched the machine gun from his
opponent's hand and threw a punch at his face and chest.
