Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 39

The call was from his personal assistant, Chet Reynes, who called to inquire about some company matters.

After looking at the time, Frederick said, "I'll be there in the afternoon. Let's talk about the details at the company later!".

"Okay, then I'll deal with other matters first. By the way, there's something else —" Just as Chet was thinking about how he should phrase it, a woman's cough suddenly came from the other end. Chet paused in an instant.

"What is it?" Frederick asked.

Chet shook his head and said slowly, "Master Johnson and Master Bowles requested to meet you. They asked if you are free."

How could he be with a woman at this hour? Chet couldn't believe his ears at all. He couldn't help but pinch himself hard. Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

"Okay, I see!" Frederick answered.

Hanging up the phone, Frederick turned around and saw that Alicia had finished bathing. Under the sun, a black flower was blooming on her shoulder, revealing a mysterious and enchanting lure.

As if being attracted by a mysterious force, he walked over to her slowly. He gently held her soft body, and his eyes fell on her seductive shoulder.

"Why is there such a flower on your shoulder? It makes me want to pounce on you by just looking at it!" Frederick muttered.

It was a black poppy flower. A beautiful and sexy flower, just like her. She was charming and attractive. Her touch was like an addiction.

Looking up, Alicia seemed to be frozen. Her long eyelashes fluttered, and her body went stiff.

"There's a scar... It's quite big and it can't be covered by any other colors. Hence, I chose a black flower!" Alicia said.

If she had known three years ago that she would end up in this manner, she would have endured the pain and lasered it away. However, she couldn't bring herself to do so. She could only use this method to cover it up. Subconsciously, she knew that although she could not see it, it didn't mean that it had never existed. She had only been in love once before, and it was a deep love.

No longer wanting to mention about the past, Alicia simply turned around and said, "If you don't think it's suitable, I can remove it!".

After all, she had been doubted more than once because of this tattoo.

In fact, her mother had been introducing her to other men in the past year. Her mother desperately wanted her to have a new relationship. Alicia had given it a try before, but the only man who she had a good impression of, completely rejected her because of the tattoo on her shoulder. He didn't even want to hear her explanation.

The final conclusion that he had given her was that she was playing hard to get and she was not an innocent woman. He didn't want her.

It was ridiculous. They had only known each other for two months and they had seen each other for a few times only!

Before Frederick could say anything, Alicia sighed. "Although I'm afraid of pain, I don't want you to suspect my behavior because of this..."

It could be seen that she didn't want to remove it. Frederick pinched her cheek and said, "Silly girl, I'm not that superficial!"

Her eyes had told him how pure she was!

Thinking of this, Frederick was a little confused again. "She was really a virgin before sleeping with me. But how did she get into my bed? What about her fake pregnancy? What about our marriage? Is she really good at acting or did she break into my life by accident?" Frederick wondered.

The suspicion at the bottom of his heart crept into his mind again. The good impression that Frederick just had of her, was greatly suppressed by him again!
