Chapter 299
Chapter 299
“Mr. Chadwick…”
Gwendolyn found herself breathlessly twisted against his advances, her lips locked with his in an unyielding kiss.
His mouth traveled down her neck, grazing her earlobe, peppering her cheeks, causing her defenses to crumble. Seizing the moment, she shifted her position, reclining onto the lounge chair with her palms pressing against his chiseled abs.
“Mr. Chadwick, wait…”
The pool area was open on all sides, and she could see the intense desire in his eyes, impossible to conceal.
Beneath her hands pulsed a strong heartbeat, so vigorous it seemed to burn through her skin.
“I can’t wait.”
With one hand, he pinned her wrists above her head and bent down to claim her bare skin with an authoritative kiss.
The lounge chair creaked under them, its slender structure threatening to collapse at any second.
“Not here. This isn’t right.”
Her eyes, soft and rippling with vulnerability, betrayed the strain in her voice, feebly protesting. The daylight exposed her, challenging her sense of modesty. She had never imagined being so intimate outside the sanctity of her room.
“Gwen, no one’s around,” he whispered gently. He was usually all control and restraint, but he let go of that facade when desires took over without a moment of doubt.
Her heart sank at his teasing, reflecting on how men seemed to relish the wild.
The last thread holding her swimsuit in place was undone by his fingers. As his lips trailed lower, she closed her eyes in resignation and murmured.
“Mr. Chadwick, let’s just appease our cravings here and then go back to the room, okay?”
Her eyes, misty and endearing, pleaded for understanding.
Howard, however, was not inclined to comply.
Jealousy had gnawed at him that day, upon learning that another boy had shared her innocent youth. Even if it was just a childhood companion long passed, it left a sour taste in his heart.
“Dr. Gwen, what exactly do you mean by ‘appease our cravings‘?” he asked, deliberately maintaining a distance.
Gwendolyn’s hands were still bound by his, leaving her feeling vulnerable and hesitant to move. She feared any slight motion might cause her untied swimsuit to slip off.
Blushing, she responded, “Just a kiss and a hug.”
“That’s hardly enough for me. Last night was satisfying, and a mere kiss doesn’t come close.”
“But…” Struggling for words, Gwendolyn searched for an excuse to convince him. Then, inspiration struck,

“Mr. Chadwick, we didn’t bring protection.”
His lips curved into a slight smile, “I did.” Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
From his nearby bag, he produced a box of condoms, “Enough for the entire night.”
Her last avenue of escape was closed off.
With a look of forlorn resignation, Gwendolyn realized she was out of options.
“You planned this, and you never meant to teach me to swim.”
“I did teach you to swim, but I’m collecting my fee,” he said, presenting a condom as if it were currency, “I’ve plotted this for a while, and I won’t let you go tonight.”
Their remaining words were lost between breaths and kisses.
Overwhelmed by his touch, Gwendolyn grew feverish, succumbing to him. Whatever he said became her command, and as he demonstrated his proficiency, she couldn’t help but utter submissive terms of
endearment,
He seemed to revel in it.
Fueled by a jealous fervor, he was relentless.
Caught in the throes of passion, Gwendolyn covered her face, too shy to look at him.
Howard forced her hands away, his voice raw and his breath scorching.
“Look at me, Gwendolyn.”
She could only look at him, to see how completely he possessed her.
In the dead of night, the pool once again echoed with splashes, and the motion–activated lights flickered on and off, tirelessly working long into the night.
