The tiger’s coat was streaked with bold yellow and black stripes, its tail thick
and powerful like a steel whip. With its powerful frame and razor–sharp claws
giving off a menacing vibe, the beast exuded raw, primal danger.
The nearby guards saw the tiger, too, but none of them dared approach. Who
could blame them? Any common, defenseless folk would be fearful of a
beast appearing from nowhere.
“You beast! Leave Sonia alone! Come after me! What kind of cowardly tiger
goes after women?” Shane shouted, summoning all his courage as he
charged at the tiger, throwing a rock at its hindquarters.
“Grrraahh!” The tiger roared in pain and immediately turned its attention from
Sonia to Shane, leaping toward him with deadly intent.
“F*cking hell!” Shane’s bravado vanished as fear took over. He turned and ran
as fast as he could, muttering under his breath, “Good kitty. I was just kidding!
I really admire your strength and your royal presence. Let’s talk this out…”

“Shane!” Sonia shouted, her voice filled with both fear and admiration. He was
clearly just as scared, but he had put himself in danger to protect her.
The tiger, far faster than Shane, leaped toward him again. Luckily, Shane’s
martial arts training kicked in, and he rolled out of the way just in time,
narrowly avoiding the beast’s deadly claws. With quick reflexes, he
scrambled to his feet and darted through a small gap in the fence,
disappearing into the magnolia garden.
Did that just happen? The guards stared, dumbfounded. How did someone
that heavyset move so swiftly? And how did he manage to squeeze through
that tiny gap?!
Foiled in its attempt to catch Shane, the tiger turned back toward Sonia, its
eyes locking onto her once again.
“No! Stay back!” Sonia shrieked, her face pale with fear.
At that exact moment, Gwain and his two companions arrived at the
entrance to the magnolia garden, along with Roselynn. They were just in time

to witness the terrifying scene unfold.
“Mr. Gwain, please, you have to help her!” Roselynn pleaded.

Gwain hesitated for a moment, but his pride won out. He couldn’t claim to be
the best martial artist in the world and stand by while a tiger attacked a
woman. That would ruin his reputation.
Just as he casually kicked a stone beneath his feet toward the tiger, a calm,
commanding voice rang out, “Simba! You know the rules here. No causing
trouble, and definitely no eating people!”
To everyone’s astonishment, the tiger immediately stopped in its tracks,
lowering its head as though it had just been scolded. The once fearsome
beast now looked like a guilty child.
The onlookers were left speechless.
Almost simultaneously, a rugged, broad–shouldered man descended from
above, landing gracefully on the tiger’s back. With a casual flick of his foot, he

stopped the stone that Gwain had discreetly kicked at it as though it had
been nothing.

Hank and Wyatt were both stunned. They hadn’t even seen where the man
had come from. Gwain, though more composed, was equally shocked. It
wasn’t just the man’s agility that impressed him–he had neutralized the full
force of Gwain’s hidden attack without making a sound. That level of skill was
extraordinary.
The man glanced at Gwain but said nothing, seemingly uninterested. He then
urged the tiger forward and casually rode it into the magnolia garden,
vanishing from sight.
“W–Wait!” one of the guards stammered, but by the time they reacted, the
man was already gone.
Gwain was furious. The man hadn’t insulted him directly, but the sheer
indifference in his gaze felt like the greatest insult of all. To be dismissed as
nothing special was infuriating, especially for someone who prided himself
on being the best.

“Mr. Gwain, what should we do? That man is probably here to meet Maestro
Moretti as well,” Wyatt whispered cautiously.

with two different groups of visitors. If Gwain had insisted on visiting her now,
it would probably have led to a confrontation with the man who had just
entered.
“Let’s go in and meet him!” Gwain said through clenched teeth. His pride
wouldn’t allow him to back down. He had to know who that man was. If he
walked away now, it could shatter his confidence, his claim to being the best.
“You can’t go in there!” one of the guards rushed forward, raising his arm to
block their path.
“F*ck off! Do you know who we are?”
